I am selling the V1 I bought in 1996. It can be sent in to Valentine Research to trade for their latest model for $249 plus shipping. I'll take $80 for mine. It is still better than pretty much anything else on the market, but it doesn't have any laser detection, which the new model does (front and rear). Includes original receipt (not that you need that to trade it in) manual, power supply, and mounting stuff.

I had an old one and upgraded to a new one several years ago. Instead of upgrading it, they gave me a brand new one.
It is very effective radar/laser locator. -
Under different circumstances I would be VERY interested. For anyone who does not know about these and is interested in the idea of a radar detector, the Valentine One is considered by many to be the absolute best value.

However; I don't see the point in the upgrade price? I can buy this for $80 + $250 to upgrade = $330. I can purchase a brand new one with everthing included for $399, $70 bucks more?
