:confused:I do not feel that I am getting enough base out of my 25's when listening to SACD stereo discs. They are wired with the subwoofer cable in and the speaker cables connected to the top posts with the jumpers off.

Can I - keep the subwoofer cable in, put the jumpers back, set the crossover to 80 with the dial on the back of the speakers, and then set the crossover in the reciever at 90 for all other formats.

Do not have both the a subwoofer cable plugged into the LSi25 AND the jumpers in place.

If you want to put the jumpers back in- this is what you should do: Set the front speakers on your receiver to "large" and the subwoofer setting to "off". Then adjust the subwoofer level and crossover frequency with the knobs on the back of the speakers.

Disconnect the jumpers, and run the sub from the AVR to the input of the 25's.

Please. Please contact me a ben62670 @ yahoo.com. Make sure to include who you are, and you are from Polk so I don't delete your email. Also I am now physically unable to work on any projects. If you need help let these guys know. There are many people who will help if you let them know where you are.
    Thanks

What exactly are you expecting out of the Lsi25's ?? Connect the jumpers, disconnect the subwoofer cables, leave the speakers plugged in, set "both" knobs on the LSi's amp at 12 o'clock position and set the speakers to "large" on your receiver. This is the settings that was recommended to me by Polk. You may also adjust the phase switch to either in phase or out of phase on the speakers amp to see which provides better bass for you. Once you start turning the gain knob past 12 o'clock you will be adding muddiness to the sound if set to high. If all else fails and you still are not happy with the bass output, then buy a subwoofer. I have a pair of these. They have a nice low fill, but they will not rattle your bean.
