I wish I could fix electronics, that's 10 dollars a receiver, and almost all of them would go for at least 100 after a few blown up transistors were replaced

Kinda makes you want to run right out and buy a Sony huh? I'd bet not ONE of those things makes a sound.

oh im sure not one of them makes a sound, but the same thing with my jvc receiver a month ago, blew some transistors.. just pop in back in and relist on ebay, buy a real brand.. I'd like one of those Nakamichi's..

How much do transistors run? (roughly)comment comment comment comment. bitchy.

Depends on the type. "Transistors" is a rather broad term. Small ones on the control side might only be $1-2, whereas the big boys in the amplifier section (FETs) can run as high as $15-20.
