Does this Police SACD have a diff # than the Standard copy?

If CD says "This is a DTS CD, which features DTS 5.1 Surround Sound technology and is playable on a DTS-capable 5.1 Surround Sound system" is this the same as SACD?

Doing my homework this time!:D

DTS cd's are often very good quality as well. There was very often a DTS layer on DVD-Audio disks that was playable on DTS equiped dvd players and almost always multi-channel.

I really don't think this is a SACD. The only SACD is an A&M release. What he is saying is that it CAN BE PLAYED on SACD CDPs. I think the DTS 5.1 is simply a multichannel mix...not SACD. I may be wrong (and hope that I am for your sake) but I don't think so.

considering the hours and hours of enjoyment a disc can bring over years of service its still a bargain, I see many SACD discs now well over a hundred bucks, sure greed is involved, but there is a reason the disc brings a premium price.

Well I'm hoping the Police CD IS a SACD that'll give me 2 anyway to start with.

Looking into a few classical Cd's as well.....see where it goes from there.

It wasn't the price but more that THIS ONE IS A SACD. I do not like the Police that much either, but have paid way more than that for other SACD titles.
