Canare Star Quad ICs

Well, I've decided to try new ICs on my rig (I'm surprised they lasted this long :D). On the chopping block are three handmade pairs of 5' Canare L4E6S Star Quad. The L4E6S is part of Canare's Star Quad line, so it consists of 4 conductors; 21g double twisted design insulated with cotton. However, this cable is also then covered with a braided, tinned copper shield and finished with a PVC cover. The shielding is so good that I used this cabling for the signal in my tube amp since it had to run past the transformers. This is a very flexible cable with a silky smooth finish on the Canare stamped jacket. They are a directional design which helps keep noise low. The cables are terminated with GLS black chrome plugs with gold plated connectors for a black on black look.

I would describe the sound as "unveiled". They are detailed, bright (as compared to dull), and dynamic. All three pairs are fully burned in and these are the best ICs I've owned to date. I've had success with these on speakers that voice very differently; ranging from vintage Polks to new B&Ws.

$30 shipped and tracked per pair in bubble wrap mailer CONUS. (I'll combine them if you want multiple pairs)

I ended up with all of these cables and last week asked zingo if he could cut them in half for me and reterminate them. Even though he obviously had no obligation to do so, he ordered the plugs for me, cut them in half and reterminated them for me...all for a very minimal cost for his time and effort. AND he had them done and mailed back out to me the same day he received them!!!

If zingo is selling, buy with confidence.
