Pioneer VSX-84TXSi problem maybe?

During TV playback via DirecTV HD recorder by HDMI output to receiver, causes the unit to shut off and flash "Phase Control". But when working ok "Phase Control" isn't lite but the HDMI is lite?
I reseated all HDMI cables at AVR since I felt it's a bad connection, but is that normal if a bad connection or showing something else?
Background, AVR used as Pre/Pro for front speakers which are driven by amps. The center, and rear surround speakers are driven by the AVR. Nothing is driven hard or warm at this time.
