Their may be other opinions but I would stick with the same AWG as the original. By going to a heavier gage wire (lower number) you will reduce the wire resistance. This will increase the output level of the driver and unbalance the sound. This may not give desired results.

    Just my thoughts

Besides them being tremendous in comparison, none of the inductors Sonic Craft offers will work correctly. When replacing inductors, try to match the DCR(DC Resistance) to the original as close as possible. This is a closer match: http://www.parts-express.com/pe/pshowdetl.cfm?PartNumber=255-026&DID=7

That one is the closest I have ever found to the original. It is much larger than stock though.

Please. Please contact me a ben62670 @ yahoo.com. Make sure to include who you are, and you are from Polk so I don't delete your email. Also I am now physically unable to work on any projects. If you need help let these guys know. There are many people who will help if you let them know where you are.
    Thanks

It's still a baby compared to the same size from Alpha Core. :D

Randy, contact Polk like I suggested before. They will be able to tell you exactly what the original would have been.

F1....I did they said more than likely theirs are usually 22 GA....but could not comment on exact DCR values.

I mentioned to them I think you guys were basing it's need from these specs:

    http://www.polkaudio.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=18777&d=1155784729

I just want to know who JC is? and if possible confirm this schematic being reliable???? cuz it seems this is the schematic F1 was talking about..it's basically what I'd be building as per previous parts suggested. I put my orders in yesterday.

    Sonic:
    4 12ufs sonics
    4 2.7ohm 12 watt Mills
    their solder.

    PartsExp:
    2 Dayton DMPC-33
    1 glue gun
    2 glue sticks

And may have found the correct inductors too!
