How exactly do you hook up a ble-ray player using the analog hookups, what are the settings, everything is pioneer elite, and testing to make sure eveything works before sale.

    Analog video or audio?

    For audio, use 5.1 or 7.1 audio connections if they are available. Just like multichannel out on an SACD. You might have to go though the audio setup to tweak things like sub/x-over/levels.

    For video, use component cables. Expect that BD will playback at 1080i and DVD will only do 480p over component. That is standard among today's players. They won't upscale DVD over analog outputs.
