Monitor 7 Crossover Differences?

I have a pair of early 7's with Peerless tweeters and MW6500 drivers. One of the drivers was seized so I snagged a pair of MW6502's on Ebay. MW6502 is what is in the later 7's, but they are 4 ohms and the 6500's are 8 ohms. This is going to change the LPF x-over frequency, but when I look at schematics for later 7's, the cap and resistor values are the same as mine. The inductors in mine aren't labeled, so I don't know if they are different. Is it possible the inductors are the same as well? I figured mine would have a different value of the 34uF shunt cap on the woofer if the woofer is a different impedance from the later models.

Does anyone know if there is a difference between MW6500 and MW6502 crossovers in Monitor 7's?

Do you have the paper ring on your work 6500?
Please. Please contact me a ben62670 @ yahoo.com. Make sure to include who you are, and you are from Polk so I don't delete your email. Also I am now physically unable to work on any projects. Thanks for the offer Ben. I received the MW6502 drivers and put one in one of the M7's, then played them both, alternating between left and right, and the one with the MW6502 replacement actually sounded better. The funny thing was is my wife was sitting there, unaware of what I was doing and she said "that sounds good, but the right side doesn't sound as good as the left side" (the MW6502 was on the left). So I swapped the 6500 for the other 6502 and they sound really good. I've had these with a 6500 in each (took one from my Monitor 10), and I didn't think they sounded all that good, they were bright, lacking midrange, and a little shrill. Not so with the MW6502's. I think that maybe these 7's did not come with the proper crossovers from the factory (maybe a mistake made in transition from the MW6500 to the 6502?) Either way, I was expecting them to sound like crap with the 4 ohm drivers as the woofer should be crossed over at a lower frequency sucking out mids. Now time for a recap. :)

The same thing happened to me; I am using MW6502's and love it.
