Are you looking for a pair of RTA-12Cs or are you asking whether it is a good deal???

If you have a chance to buy a pair, this is what you shud look for... If it is in mint condition, the price is reasonable... make sure that the mid-drivers move easily... push the passive radiator (the big speaker) in a bit and the mids shud push out a bit... better to push the radiator as it has no voice coil. test the speaker to make sure the tweeter works okay, the speaker requires a lot of power and driving them with low power receivers can cause clipping which may blow the tweeters out.

BTW, the speakers wud be about 20+ years old by now... It is suggested that the capacitors in the crossovers be replaced. It is also suggested that the Polk SL2000 tweeters be replaced with the newer RDO194s cloth doped tweeters as the older ones are made of plastic which hardens and makes the sound more harsh...

I had a pair & they're TERRIFIC, especially for the price. & I didn't upgrade anything, yet they sounded fantastic.

They were mint as well. Maybe offer a little less, but they're worth $200.

The RTA-12Cs are good speakers... I have a pair and use them as my primary speakers. After replacing the tweeters (one was blown) and upgrading the caps, I find them to be really sweet. The only issue is that on some music, the bass is lacking. A perfect example is the soundtrack from "Titanic"... One song, "Leaving Southampton" has some extremly low bass drums. On other speakers, the bass is very strong but on the Polk, the bass is notably softer. My guess is that the drums are really low in frequency and the two MW6502s cannot generate any signal that low for the passive radiator to work with.
