Anyone see this yet? The reviews have been horrible but mostly because of the Ultra Violence. I figure that is what Punnisher is supposed to be all about. The last one was terrible. Would the real punisher fake torture some guy with a freakin' popsicle? Not! Anywho whats the story?:confused:

    I'm trying to get to it...but the last 2 blew chunks.....if it's ultra violent then there is a glimmer of hope........

    Ultra violent is a bit too much. Yes, it's more violent than the 2004 version. Yes, it is graphically violent with blown away body parts. I have mixed feelings with this one. While there were some good one liners coming from Ray Stevenson (HBO's Rome series) and I thought he did a good job, the rest of the movie stunk.

    Main villain, Jigsaw, was a Joker (Batman 1989) copy cat. His sidekick, Loony Bin Jim, was laughable. Compared to these two guys, Heath Ledger deserves an Oscar.

    If you're looking for something cheesy with graphic violence, wait for a rental on this one.

    Just finished this one up. Cheesy fun with some really good gun fire and stuff blowing up. Too bad, an entirely different line-up of villains could have made for a much better film.
    If...
    Ron dislikes a film = go out and buy it.
    Ron loves a film = don't even rent.

    I watched it as well and thought it was terrible. It had potential but I found the bad guy Jigsaw to be as annoying as Jar Jar Binks. Also the lighting was very distracting. Looked like the inside of Spencer Gifts in the mall. :mad:
