Keeping Them!!!

Well if you remeber I have a set of Monitor 40's that I had conected to a yamaha reciver and even after byamping them they still didnt sound as good as I though. Well today I recived a broken car amp a Nitro amp that is like 128 by 2. So anyway I fixed the amp after working on it for a half hour and used my monitor 40's as a final test subject. MMMMMAAAAAAAANNNNN:eek: what gorgious sound coming out of these speakers Bass was Tighter mids were heard highs were crisp. It was like having a set 2 times more expensive. I finaly have to agree with everyone that was saying to upgrade my receiver "sold anyway". It was so much cleaner sounding my sub wasnt even hooked up and I went downstairs and heard and felt them from downstairs. WOW

    Interesting....is that car amp 128x2 into 4ohms? Did you hook it up to a car batter in the house?

    But now they are rear speakers so they do not get much anyway.
