RTi12's or RTi A9's?

Hey guys...so Im new to Club Polk and I could use a little bit of help.
So I already own a pair of RTI8s (love them btw) and have long wanted to buy a set of the RTi12s since they went discontinued last year. JR.com is currently selling the last remaining RTi12s in existence for like $350 a piece. Figuring in shipping costs, they would come out to about $950 total, which is a hell of a deal. On the other hand, I would be able to just as easily buy a used set of of RTi A9s from Polks ebay store for $899 plus shipping...also a hell of a deal. So for those of you who would know better, are the A9s that much better than the RTi12s? If I went with the A9s, I feel like I would have to replace the RTi8s with A5s and spend more for a comparable center to the CSi5. I really dont know what to do...I guess Im afraid of getting the 12s knowing that the RTi A series is monumentally better.
What should I do? Thanks for the help!

BenPlease. Please contact me a ben62670 @ yahoo.com. Make sure to include who you are, and you are from Polk so I don't delete your email. Also I am now physically unable to work on any projects. If you need help let these guys know. There are many people who will help if you let them know where you are.

Similar pricing...get the A9s. The 8s will sound very close in the surround role, but the 9s look and sound better than the 12s, IMO.

+1 for the A9's. I just seen some RTI 12's on audion and/or ebay for about $650.

I paid 450 for a mint pair of Rti12's with the boxes and foam and am LOVING them. The A9's do look a bit more sexy though. My budget is rather tight though, so if you're on a budget I definitely would not pass up a pair of 12's. I cant picture my cinema without them any moreCenter- (2) CS350ls
