The alternator in my vehicle is rated at 200a idle, 300a @1000 rpm .
This is in addition to the stock 150a alternator.

I run a Leece Neville in my 68 Bronco. It came out of one of those big diesel tour type busses.160 amps at idle;) Runs what ever I want including an 8000# Warn winch to pull out suckers that try to go where I do:)
Please. Please contact me a ben62670 @ yahoo.com. Make sure to include who you are, and you are from Polk so I don't delete your email. Also I am now physically unable to work on any projects. If you need help let these guys know. There are many people who will help if you let them know where you are.
    Thanks
    Ben

We had alot of problems with our older fleet needing boosts after 20 minutes of battery use until they started installing those giant 300a alternators.

I had a Phoenix Gold one back in the day in my Cavalier for the stereo. I think it was 110 at idle and 190 at cruise. This is back in 93 so the numbers are fuzzy in my head. One of the easiest upgrades for better stereo sound.

Is that a 4x4 model? Our area really needs to get some 4x4 ambulances. They still run 4x2 with chains out in the country here. Can get quite treacherous, I imagine.

4x2. These are the first ambulances the city buys with rear air suspensions.
Back in the winter of 96, we got around 12-14 feet of snow in the city. we were grounded. We ended up in humvees from the national guard.
