Parasound Halo a23 for LSi9?

This probably has been asked millions of times but I just can't seem to find one that show how well the Parasound Halo A23 pairs with the LSi9, so please bare with me.
I'm currently driving my LSi9s with the Onkyo A-9555 in bi-wire mode, meaning Speaking A-B on the amp are used to power the speakers. So far I like what I'm hearing but just at times some instruments in the background of certain music sounded loose, meaning u can't pinpoint exactly where the sound is coming from. I'm not sure what the problem is... my source is my PC with Creative Audigy2 ZS Plat Pro digital out only to a Cambridge Audio 840c as a DAC. I do use a Little Dot IV tube headphone amp as a preamp to feed into the Onkyo.
In my situation, I can't live without the Little Dot as a pre because it made the music sound much more organic. It could be just the recording or my source, I'm wondering what could happen if I upgrade my Onkyo to something better and the Parasound caught my eye.
I won't be able to use the A-B mode for the speakers with the parasound anymore but will that be a problem? Plus, is the parasound and the LSi9 a good combination? I do plan to upgrade to balanced in the future when I get a balanced pre and the halo fits the bill... any advise is appreciated.

I used to have a Halo A23 with my Lsi15s and it made those badboys sing! It would own the Lsi9s.
