I almost hit the BIN,, but self control got the best of me,,I'd loce to have em',, but I just don't need anymore sprakers right now.But I'd be happy to pick em up for anyone, as I live nearby.

I noticed that they are B/B,,, are they the CRS +?

Wow George! You still have self control when it comes to audio? Where can I get some! :p

I think the single tweeter and B/B makes them early CRS+, but non TL-able. Plus, it looks like the top speaker has damage to the tweeter.

Georgie do you have anything to tell us?
Please. Please contact me a ben62670 @ yahoo.com. Make sure to include who you are, and you are from Polk so I don't delete your email. Also I am now physically unable to work on any projects. If you need help let these guys know. There are many people who will help if you let them know where you are.
    Thanks

I bought them today. I am collecting the SDA series speakers. Over the last month I have been lucky enough to collect the SDA 1C black studio version, SDA SRS 2 1986 version, SDA SRS 2 1987 bi-ampable version, these SDA-CRS and this weekend I will pick up a SDA 2B set locally. I will be on the look out for the SDA SRS model. I hope a set comes close to Northeast Pennsylvania in the near future.

Thanks. I have been fortunate that the big SDA's were only a half hour away from my house. My black SDA 1C's were from Colorado. The shipper did a heck of a job packing them but they still arrived with two frozen speakers that I replaced. I hope these SDA-CRS' arrive in one piece. I will let you know what condition they are in when I get them.

Congrats, I have a pair of CRS+'s that I will keep. It looked like one of the tweeters was pushed in. Are you upgrading your SDA's with the RDO tweeters?

I bought my CRS+ from ebay and they arrived in great condition, so there is hope. :) I hope you like them as I think they sound amazing for the size.

I am looking forward to hearing the CRS. I will see how the tweeter is when it comes. I have a feeling I will be replacing them with the RDO's. Ben the part number you listed is that for the drivers. Does Polk sell replacements if they are frozen. I will let you know on that one. Your silver interconnect cable works well with my SDA 1C. I may be getting another one off of you shortly. The 87 version of the SDA SRS 2 did not come with one. It is the pin version. The 86 SDA SRS version uses blade/blade connection. I know the guy I am buying the CRS speakers does not have the interconnect cable. I am not sure if that speaker is blade/blade or pin/blade. It seems like everyone likes the CRS version they kind of remind me of a horizontal monitor 10 with SDA. Is that a fair assumption.

Well, I received the SDA CRS speakers on Monday. I heard the UPS truck and could see the delivery guy thru my door. He literally thru the two boxes on the front porch. I couldn't believe my eyes. Before I could get my coat and shoes on he was gone. The seller did a great job with packing these speakers. I got them out of the box and the cabinets were in good shape but needed a cleaning. I hooked up the speakers and they sounded good but not great. I discovered the tweeter was not working on one of the speakers. I pulled out the tweeter and found that the female quick disconnect end was broken. Today I went to radio shack and a new quick disconnect. Hooked up the speaker and all I can say is WOW. They have got to be the best bookself speakers I have ever heard. I would not change a thing on them.
