I was driving thru Nebraska for work a month ago and on one of their stations (The Breeze i think) they had the most amazing instrumental song I have heard in ages. It was a Hispanic/rock kinda song. They didn't tell the artist and I have no idea what that genre is even called.

Anybody have any good ideas on this style of music? Upbeat, good bass, but not totally hard rock either. Or maybe another genre that you have found to be close?

Any tips would be appreciated in your tastes. :) Thanks.

I just learned about that too and it's sounds really sweet. I'd be interested how big their data bass is though...

Their database is amazing. I've used that program a few times, and it has yet to fail me. I was at the doctor's office the other day, and a song was on, very faintly on the overhead speakers, I gave it a try, picked it right up.

When I first got it, I turned on one of those music channels on the TV and had it identify a couple songs, including a few rarer live versions, and it got every one of them, even the rare live ones.
If you will it, dude, it is no dream.

The database they use is the genius database. This is information that itunes subscribers volunteer to help generate playlists. So I imagine it consists of about 15 million peoples entire music library.
