Hi All,

I live in India and as you are aware we are just comming out of our 9/11. The events in Mumbai gave me some food for thought. It made me realise that that we are caught up in tmrw and what we need to do to go to the next level. Yet we dont appreciate what we have today.

It got me searching the threads here to realise that we are all chasing that elusive 15% of sq without appreciating the 85% that we have in hand.

There is no active thread that talks about what we lkisten to and how our systems make us feel. So here goes....................

System- polk momo set up as mentioned at the end. Album that turns me on- Roger Waters Amused to Death.

When you tune the system properly you will discover the following:

1. The best bargain price on the title track is $169.75
2. Roger waters voice will be a mix of a singing and whispering
3. The title song will sound amazing

At the end of the day music calms the mind. So its almost up there with oiling and washing my daughters hair................almost but not quite. This with the momo set up. If I had the SR setup maybe the two would have beeen at par......somehow I doubt it...lol

Look forward to hearing from you'll

Arun

I cant speak for everybody but for me, the biggest part of car audio is the challenge. A car is a horrible place for sound quality and I enjoy spending hours in my car tuning, tweaking and installing things to overcome all the obstacles and get the good sound.

A friend of mine, Andy Jones, is the first person to win a SQ World Championship in all 3 organizations - he listens to sport talk radio when he's in his car.

Maybe I need to go back to when I was 17 years old and had a set of MTX Road Thunder boxes behind the seats of my '86 Ford Ranger and would often drive around for hours just listening to music.

Anytime Robert! Im at your service.

The Momo amps have some very nice tuning features, as well as anything you can find. Itll take some trial and error but where there is a will and two stubborn individuals like ourselves it can be done! :D
