Help me with the rest of my speaker selection
I am setting up a Home Theater in the Basement. The room will be ~ 21' long by 11' wide when finished. The rear of the room will have a double dorr opening. This weekend I purchsed a pair of RTI8s on sale. Along with the RTI 8 I purchased a CSIa4 for the center speaker and used the $200 off to purchase a Polk PSW125.
1 i am considering going back and trading up to a CSIa6 since teh center speaker is so important in the system. thoughts.
2. FXiA4s for the side surround and rear surround? What about some of the older LSIFX speakers?
thanks in advance for the help.

You want to stay with the RTi or RTiA series of speakers to match. Not worth trying to run LSi rears with RTi fronts.
Rather than upgrade your center, I would think you would get a better bang for your buck by putting more money into your sub. (just my opinion)
MichaelMains.............Polk LSi15 (Cherry)
Center............Polk LSiC (Crossover upgraded)
Surrounds.......Polk LSi7 (Gloss Black - wood sides removed and crossovers upgraded)
Subwoofers.....SVS 25-31 CS+ and PC+ (both 20hz tune)
Pre\Pro...........NAD T163 (Modded with LM4562 opamps)
Amplifier.........Cinepro 3k6 (6-channel, 500wpc@4ohms) -
I have another older sub I plan to run with the polk to have 2 subs.

Then upgrade the center. Welcome to Club Polk.Marantz AV-7705 PrePro, Classé 5 channel 200wpc Amp, Oppo 103 BluRay, Rotel RCD-1072 CDP, Sony XBR-49X800E TV, Polk S60 Main Speakers, Polk ES30 Center Channel, Polk S15 Surround Speakers SVS SB12-NSD x2

OK I'm definitly going to upgrade to the CSi A6. Did the A/B difference in the store and the CSi 6 was much better.
Since I have such a narrow room I was thinking about doing in walls for the side surrounds but the
LC65fx seem to be a bit overboard. Other ideas for in wall?
