WAAAAAAAAAAAAAA! Actually, after repairing a second Inguinal hernia and installing the mesh, they cut some nerves and I can boom boom long time.

    I hate jazz :(

JK I am only envious it wasnt me that got it :D
Well, I just pulled off the impossible by doing a double-blind comparison all by myself, purely by virtue of the fact that I completely and stupidly forgot what I did last. I guess that getting old does have its advantages after all :D

Actually Joe, as I was telling Rich the sound was impeccable but I couldn't say that I'd love the music. Too much clarinet for my tastes. Now if it were trumpet I'd have kept it. I just wouldn't listen to it that much if at all. Now I could've kept it for the collectability but I'd rather one of you guys to have it. Someone who would really enjoy it.

I remember Doug told me I probably wouldn't like it but I had to try.

I'm happy that Rich got it.

I assume you are speaking of JATPS.

My .02 on the record vs. the SACD. The record is more open and airy with lots of space between the musicians. The SACD has more weight to the music. They both sound equally good just different.

I'll look for some time to make the comparison, but I agree with you in one thing; they both sound excellent.

If anyone is interested in hearing the XRCD version of this reference recording, (maybe to compare with the SACD or Vinyl), send me a PM.
