Flying with contacts in carry on

I'm flying back tomorrow, and need to bring some more contacts with me. I would assume I can just stuff a box of my contacts in my backpack as my carry on and be ok, but I wasn't 100% sure because of them being in solution. The amount of solution is so small, though, I can't see them having a problem with it.
Think it'd be ok?
Thanks!

My wife hasn't had a problem with it in the past as long as procedures are followed as stated above.
