Maybe it's just because I haven't bought any DVD's online before, but what is the difference between a regular DVD and one that has "Widescreen Dubbed Subtitle AC3" in the description?
LOOK HERE for an example.......what would possibly make that top Hellboy 2 disk almost double the Blu-Ray version on the bottom?
Are there different grades of Blu-Ray discs? I'm sure at some point they want the gift pack and all that other useless crap, but the covers are totally different.......so what's up?
Maybe there's no difference.........but it's a weird way to describe a movie.

Widescreen, Dubbed/Subtitle, AC3 sounds like a generic description for almost any movie disk referencing the aspect ratio, language options, and surround sound. Probably some weird way the description pulls from bestbuy's database. There are no "grades" of blu-ray disks. Just the usual culprits of double dipping versions (remasters, different cuts, different audio options, etc.).

The 3-disc DVD Special Edition Collector's Set (priced at $64.95), and the 2-disc Blu-ray Special Edition Collector's Set ($69.95) will be available for a limited time only. -
Brett,
The more expensive version is a collector's set and contains a digital copy of the movie so you can play it on your computer or handheld video player like the video ipod. I'm not sure what format the digital copy is in but AC3 in geek talk is 5.1 channel encoding. Look here for more info.
