Help! Setting up new F/Xi A6 Surrounds
I can't believe I have to ask this.
I have just opened the box for a new pair of F/Xi A6 surrounds. These speakers are going to be mounted on the wall behind me about a foot behind me at 4 feet away. The label, as I'm reading it, suggest the bass driver is actually pointed away from me and on both sides of me, only the ported side with the solo tweeter will be facing me. Can this be true?

That's the way it is with the older Rti's like the fxi30, so it's probably correct.

My RT7s are too intrusive on stands behind me but I want surrounds for Ht and yet I want rear speakers for SACD. I guess I'll have to try switching them to see how they work for SACD which means the drivers can't be pointed to the outsides. If they won't work it's back off to the dealer....Link to my System Showcase...

Yes , thats true. I also own the FXI A6's and I just reversed them (woofers facing each other). Play around with them and see what sounds best.
