Well I could whine instead of having some wine. I am going to spend Thanks Giving in prayer instead of with family. Where I am is nowhere near family again. I could have a pitty party for one, but I am thankful I have family that cares. Some of us are serving our Country, and will not see their family. Please pray for them. Be thankful for your blessings.
Ben

I would just like to add that I have spoken to my to brother, and I am on my way to his place about 800 miles away. He is where I should be. Love you guys.

there you go Ben, no one should be home alone on a holiday.. being with family or friends.. that's what makes a holiday memoriable (sp), not the food. ;)

No one ever talks about that one year grandma made really good gravy.. they all talk about the one year your aunt got plastered and danced on the table after Thanksgiving dinner. :D people make the holidays special. ;)
    PolkFest 2012, who's going>?

Drive safe Ben. Im staying down here this year. The parents are in Ohio with my mom getting more cancer tests and I should not drive that far with my knee not repaired yet so I will get together with some neighbors and have dinner with them.

Happy thanksgiving everyone. Remember, the spirit of the season is to be thankful for what you have, not remorseful for what you don't.

I am thankful that in this time of recession, war, rising prices and lowering incomes - what we chose to debate about is if you can hear the difference between two similar looking pieces of 3' wire. Why? Because we can.

I, my family and everyone at Club Polk has plenty to be thankful for. I pray we all take a little time today to see it.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone. I haven't been around much, the new job is just the busiest thing I've ever signed on the dotted line for.

As another note, my Thanksgiving is going to be less than exciting, my aunt passed away at 4am this morning so needless to say this holiday is not going to be exciting.

To the rest of you, have a great one!
