Your chance to pick up some Telarc SACD @ greatly discounted prices. From a recent post @ audioasylum.com's "Hi-Rez Highway" forum....
Telarc and Concord Music Group websites are now merged, when you go to Telarc.com and click on "SACD/HI-DEF Audio" and then click on "See all" it takes you to the Concord Music website and shows 1-15 of Telarc's SACDs, next click on "Show All" and the 162 Telarc SACDs on one real long page.

Once you get to the Concord website you can look at the SACDs from Concord and Fantasy also all $13.99 or less. Buy 4 get one free, when you put the 5th SACD in your cart it will read at 0.00 plus if you buy online you get an additional 10% off using code: CMGW2. And on top of that free shipping for orders over $50!

I think I'll pick up some Hiromi, Foreplay, Ray Charles, etc. SACDs.

The 2-SACD soundtrack to the movie "Amadeus" is very tempting at $13.98

Btw, the sale include SACDs from the Concord and Fantasy labels as well. Here's the link to Telarc/Concord/Fantasy SACDs....

Do all SACD's include a redbook CD layer? I don't have an SACD player, but buy SACD's that have the redbook layer, because almost always the redbook CD layer is very high quality. I see some of these mention the CD format also, some don't.

I don't think Telarc/Fantasy/Concord has ever released a single-layer SACD. If you are not sure, state the title here and see if anyone else has it, so that we can confirm it for you. Otherwise, check sa-cd.net/ for information.

Oh look....sa-cd.net has a link for discounted IsoMike SACDs. Ironically, the SACDs from Mike Kimber (of Kimber Kable fame) are not listed on sa-cd.net.

I've been informed by Mr. Kimble that his first name is Ray, not Mike. Sorry about that. Also, several of Ray's SACD releases are listed at sa-cd.net.

Yesterday, I received the order I placed on 2/1/2009. However, my Vivaldi "Four Seasons" SACD (the one purchased by Shack in the post above) was missing. Instead, I received a Telarc Classical SACD Sampler. I called the 1-800 phone number on Telarc's website and asked if I can switch the SACD. What apparently happened is that they have placed the wrong SACD into my order because the discs' catalog numbers were so similar (Four Seasons' 60070 vs. the Sampler's 60007). I was told I can keep the Classical SACD Sampler and Telarc will ship out the Four Seasons SACD to me today.

    Excellent customer service. Telarc!!

Also check yourmusic.com Search titles with SACD as the key word. You can find some SACD's for $6.99.
    Happy hunting.
