True Blood Dud

The final episode of Season 1 of True Blood was a dud. It was rushed, rough, and unfinished.

I liked it, and I'm looking forward to next season.......But the way they finished Renee up did feel rushed. My equipment sig felt inadequate and deleted itself.

I haven't read the books, but from what I've read in spoilers, there's some content they left out, some they changed, but the finale while leaving a few threads to pickup in next season, pretty much went the way it was written. They had a lot to cover in the last ep, but I felt they did a good job.
Regarding some of the missing content, that hopefully gets added later...there's a character named Bubba, a vamp bodyguard for Sookie, that would have been a ton of fun to see.
