Hello all,
Been a while since I posted here, so I may have missed a similar thread if so I apologise.

I am looking for a 2-chanel upgrade wanted some opinions on where to go next.
I have a budget H/T setup, Cambridge audio 540d and 540r, with Wharfedale diamond 8 series speakers .
The hi-fi I have is a bit old (I was given most of the components) it consists of an old rotel amp (ra 930ax) and a marantz cdp (cd52 mk2), and mordant short ms902i’s . I also have a NAD 320pe but it doesn’t go well with my mordant short ms902i’s so I use it in another system.

One thing I was tempted to do was get more mordant short avant 900 range speakers and then replace my wharfedale h/t system but im not too sure I like the sound of the 902i’s . can anybody here describe the comparison between them and the 914i’s ?

Anyway ,I want to upgrade my 2-chanel music system, at first I was going to get a Marantz cd 6002 , but then I saw the Tannoy mercury f4 customs for £150 on richer sounds website (recently added). At the minute I am going to get these, they arrive in on Tuesday . in the meanwhile I thought I’d ask if anyone here has any opinions/ has heard these speakers. Or any other floor sanders in this price range (below £250).

Cheers all
