Its okay, and the titles that offer it are very limited. Mario Kart Wii is by far the best game for online play that I have come across.

Xbox360 would be your best bet for COD4/5, with tons of people online all the time, then perhaps the PS3. This week there was a ton of guys from AVS and club Polk on the 360 playing CoD, I missed it, Grimster says it was insane.
