Boosting output voltage

I want to use digital surround processor as a preamp but its output voltage is like .7 and I need at least 1.25 V to get the full wattage out of my amp. Anyone know of a product to boost the voltage like that (no s*** a preamp.. but I dont want that I want like a small box on the interconnects of some sort, just for Left and Right..)

Just an idea...
Find an old(er) Pioneer Dynamic Range Expander. Run you about $20 to $50 (depending on the model), and give you a variable 6 to 14 db gain on 2ch's. I used one back in the pro-logic days on a hifi vcr that suffered in the output voltage dept.
