ground noise problem

I'm trying to finalize my PA500.4 installation and I've been getting some static noise. I've been reading about grounding and wanted to ask a couple questions.
My battery is in the trunk so my battery to car, amp to car and power distribution block to car are all within a couple feet or less of each other.
I've read that the amp grounds should be short but not too close to the battery, do you think this or the power distribution block is causing the problem?
I've also read that when doing the "Big Three" you should ground to the frame not the body. all of my grounds are into the trunk floor with the metal brush raw, is this adequate?

so any suggestions on fixing my noise problem would be greatly appreciated.

System consists of PA500.4, sr6500's, knukonceptz 12 gauge bi amp speaker wire, knukonceptz 0/1 gauge power and ground ( 4 gauge power after the dist block), knukonceptz Krystal RCA Kables, stock nav/head unit and PAC C2A-CHY to provide 4 channels of outputs.

PS. on a side note: I bought two RCA's thinking I would use one for the sr6500's and one for my PA1200.1 and SR124DVC (not installed yet) but then realized that if I'm going to Bi-amp my speakers I need two rca's and a 3rd one to run from the PA500.4 output to the 1200.1 input. is there a way to only use one rca for the front stage bi-amping otherwise half my front stage is being run off of the rear two channels and **** with my fade and balance control?

It could be the RCA's. They could either be inducing some noise from somewhere or they may have a bad ground. I had a constant staticky sound in mine and it was one of my Streetwires with a bad ground. I replaced it with some old JL Audio cables and it was clean as a whistle once again.

I thought about going to walmart to get some different RCA's to try, I just don't want to buy some expensive RCA's only to find out they don't help. I also have run into another problem, it seems that my factory amp has died so I have to get another pac audio piece to bypass it as it controls the volume and everything else. I don't think this is the problem with the interference noise though but I need to get it ironed out to make sure.

I have installed one of those amps with a Pioneer Avic N4 into a 2002 5 Series BMW. Battery in trunk. Amp powered from Battery and grounded at battery ground to car. Two channels to SR5250's and the other two bridged to factory subwoofers. Had noise in the SR's so I used a ground loop isolator and noise gone.

Stinger makes a noise filter that could be a solution as well. A friend of mine had a whine in his system at finals - hooked up the Stinger and no more noise.

Watch some of the more inexpensive rca ground loop filters, they also can cut out more than just unwanted noise.

Try moving wiring around to see if it's letting the noise in due to placement.

Ok, thanks, I was just reading that actually, I will work on getting rid of the sound other ways before getting a filter.

I think I got the noise thing taken care of, there is a tiny bit of static when nothing is playing but its pretty good. I redid the grounds, and all the wire connectors and made sure the RCA's are as far away as possible from the battery and power wires.
