Ben's ICs and which speaker cables?

Hey Guys,

I completely replaced all the ICs in my system with ben's handcrafted cables. They are burning in now and I am eagerly waiting to compare them to my Signal Analog IIs.

Now for my question. What speaker cables are you using with Ben's ICs? Name the cables you find most synergistic!


I'm currently using Signal Ultra Cables, but considering upgrading to the Signal Silver cables.

I'm also looking into various speaker cables from http://www.wireworldcable.com/ because they are willing to terminate the cables with the connectors necessary for me to attach the cable directly to my tweeters.

Anybody know of some DIY cable designs that might outperform what I'm looking at? I've made my own speaker cables in the past and really enjoyed it.

    What kind of tone do the Emerald Physics have? If they are forward you might not want to go Silver on both IC's, and speaker cables.

    I like Signal Silver Speaker cables with PS Audio Silver ICs. Signalcable use hybrid like mixed copper and silver. YMMV.

    I'd say the tone is pretty neutral, with my Dodd adding just a tad bit of warmth. With the recent addition of my BCD-1 and the sale of my Raysonic CD128, I'd say I'm damn close to neutral . . . which is where I like it. The sound is not so much romantic as it is dynamic and exciting!
