    If you need somebody to break in that amp for ya I might be willing??? for a small cost that is. ;) 1 year might get the job done to your absolute satisfaction.

    Yeah that is the blown M&K driver, What changed? Compare - Go to the showcase and look, i got junk, moved junk - and the pics look better! lol! I used a real camera....lol

    I dunno if this tells u nething, but the driver is not sheilded...the line above mine is tho.

    lol! Well, If it worked (the woofer is now nailed to my back wall), I would wire it and let it shake the wall.....lol! Yeah the magnet isnt huge, but it isnt sheilded either. The pics were taken at 2 different times, so some pics are older than the others. The latest pic is the very last one. My KLH speakers are all on one shelf. With the optimus speakers on top of one of them.

    HBomb - Ill lend it to ya for 1 year, 100 dollars a day. 20 dollars shipping. ;)

    That looks like something that came out of a tank. It also looks like it costed 500000000000 dollars for that one woofer. However my *woofer* only cost $82.50, and if I may ask. How does a magnet affect how a subwoofer sounds?

    $579 plus shipping to be exact.

    The voice coil moves creates a magnetic field when the amp passes electric current through it. The magnet assembly produces a fixed magnetic field which will either attract or repel the VC, depending on which side of zero the amp signal is on. The stronger the magnet assembly, the better control it will have over the VC as it moves back and forth.

    Muahahaha, Next pic will be when I get all the amps, and another center for my rear center. In other words - In like....5 or 6 months, and who knows. I might have a SVS subwoofer too...who knows?
