I'm curious as to why there are so many up for sale here at http://www.usedcable.com/cgi-bin/TheCableCompany.storefront/. I know there reputation is superb, with awards & reviews that are off the charts. I know that guys like to trade up & try different lines but the number for sale on this site is just unbelievable. I know a few Polkies have MIT's & you couldn't pry them from there cold stiff dead bodies! So, if they're that good please explain why all the "For sale MIT's). I never owned a pair or heard any myself but would like to get my ears on a pair.

I'm on the list for the S3's that are making the rounds. It'll be awhile before it's my turn.

Looks like the same pricing structure Joe Abrams uses on Audiogon for demos and trade-ins.

It's from people moving up the chain.

Just more proof that cables do make a difference. If they were all the same or same sounding you would not have so many cables to choose from. Kinda sorta like capasitors and resistors.

Certainly it is from people moving up the chain or changing their system around. MIT offers different lengths, true differences in models and they even have special cables for tube equipment. I would buy from Joe Abrams in any case.
