I had hidden my 10A away for the last 10 years as my 3 boys grew up. I am finally at the the point where I am ready to set up my old buddies again but ran into a problem or 2. I started to check them out and discovered that I had a frozen driver and a another surround that is showing some wear. I have the frozen driver out and sure enough you can see the magnet has shifted. I love these speakers. Any help out there (Please). I also need some advice on how to secure the remaining magnets as these are 1980 Vintage.
I have more pics of the speakers in my post in the Vintage section
Any Help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Peter

I believe I have a MW6500..!
For me, the best way to secure the magnets is to smear a 2 part epoxy around the magnet/basket area. Make sure to wipe the area with denatured alcohol first. Thanks, Jeff... -
Jeff that sounds great - Thanks for responding
I would like to talk about the 6500 - I definitely need it -
What kind of epoxy? 5 minute ok? Any brand or process you like to use?

Would you or anyone have a Picture of an epoxied driver so I can see what I need to do?

I sold a couple 6503's and I hot glued them;)Please. Please contact me a ben62670 @ yahoo.com. Make sure to include who you are, and you are from Polk so I don't delete your email. Also I am now physically unable to work on any projects. If you need help let these guys know. There are many people who will help if you let them know where you are.
Thanks
