I've got to sell the SDA 2As I just got a couple of weeks ago. Original IC cable included. This is exactly what I have in them. They're as cheap as you're gonna find for SDAs in good working order.
They have the upgraded RDO? tweeters, polyswitches snipped out and soldered, and work excellent.
Cosmetically very good with only a couple of minor places on them. Grills very good and frames solid. Pick up only. No shipping and I need them out of here FAST FAST FAST. I have NO room left for large speakers. I will consider trades for something small small small.

With the polys already removed and RDO tweeters already installed, someone has a great SDA opportunity here!

Harry's a great person to deal with. These are my old speakers, and can assure you that they were babied.

Hey, I live in Indianapolis and am going to see family in Columbus next weekend. If you want, I can drop them off at your place. Then you won't have to pay for shipping. I know I don't know either of you, but I'm a pretty trusted forum member and like to meet other people in the hobby. Just offering my services.

DOH! Delivered by a stranger?!? Is this the best forum or what? I mean come on, it's just unheard of! I know I'm boring the regulars, but the generosity afforded one here is just stupendous! Sounding like a broken record, thanks gentlemen. Anyone would be crazy not to take this offer. Now let's find one in So Cal, dammit!

SS is cool. I would be thrilled on that offer plus the SDA's have the RDO's already . That is like getting the SDA's for $150, and not have to order the RDO's. No brainer here guys.
    Ben
Please. Please contact me a ben62670 @ yahoo.com. Make sure to include who you are, and you are from Polk so I don't delete your email. Also I am now physically unable to work on any projects. If you need help let these guys know. There are many people who will help if you let them know where you are.
    Thanks

I love the SDA's. I hate to let them go but I need room. I have plenty of good speakers stacked everywhere I can use. My ONLY issue with the SDA is room placement. With all the crap I've got in EVERY room in the house I can't listen to the SDA without sacrificing much needed room. I need to toe them in, shove them back in corners in my main room. They're not made for this and I'm not going to store them in the bedroom covered up with old USMC blankets for months possibly. I'm already doing that with my BIG AR9s (2 pairs), AR3, AR3A, AR5, Altec Santana IIs, Early "A" model Valencias, JBL 110, 166, L100 Century, L100T, Lx55, Cerwin Vega AT-15, LS-12, Jensen Huge Auditoriums, Dahlquist Mirrored DQ-10, and a couple dozen pairs of bookshelfs, and a half dozen big subwoofers of varying brands also. I've got speakers I CAN shove back in the corners and toe in saving me valuable sq footage.
I've got dozens of SS amps/receivers, about a dozen or so Turntables, half dozen SS preamps, 4 tube amps working and half dozen I'm restoring or converting to home use, 3 tube preamps, six Teac/Tascam Reel to Reels, 3 Akai/Roberts Reel to Reels, and my pride and joy KLH 40 hand built by Henry himself Reel to Reel. Dozens of old Teac, Advent, Pioneer, Akai, various cassette decks, cdp's, EQs, DBX units, a couple thousand vinyl discs, CDs, cassettes, 10 and 7 inch reels, Dozens of raw woofers, and various drivers, crossovers, etc.
There's been a handful of Polk members here to my place can vouch for the gear here in case you think it's BS.
I do have a serious addiction to vintage audio and with the bad economy I've been buying up old gear locally from people just "dumping" off really good vintage gear. Many big speakers which are my weakness if I had to choose one of the many to confess to. Basically I've got 10 pounds of crap stuffed in a 6 pound bag so to speak. A lot of this stuff HAS TO GO NOW!!! I'm out of control.
I've got plenty of "trade goods" if you want to trade nice gear down or up on my SDA's. I can always use cash but I'm open to small stuff on trade on these. I always need good tube preamps and I desperately need at least one very good CDP. I'll also consider guns, a good watch, fishing and hunting gear, wall mount TVs, a good apartment stacked washer/dryer, or Harley parts for Evo or an old shovel head. A quality quad of Mullard EL34 XF1 or 2, good 6550s (not KT88s). I'm open to many trades including some "skilled labor" mechanic, painter, housekeeper for a day or so, etc, which I hate getting dirty as I get old. I'm sure you get the picture. GUY STUFF!! I'm a guy with no full time woman to get in the way (or help out as needed). Just part timers for me.
I figured I'd throw this out in case someone wants the SDA's but is worrying about cash outlay in uncertain times.
Thanks and sorry for the long winded post.

"Returned stateside in '70"...Would that have anything to do with "33"s and "B" girls?
That time frame had me sending a lot of good audio gear and watches back to "the world". I like the AR vintage speakers.
I wish someone would grab these SDA 2As and keep them close until I seek professional help or go broke whichever comes first.

Maybe we can work out a three-way trade. I have a nice set of AR-90s with new drivers if anyone would like to get their ears on them. I just need cash for my son's B-Day . I'd take my old 2As and $200 for the Ar-90s. I'd say they are 7/10 due to age. Of course, local pick-up or delivery within an hour or two.

I'd do it in a heartbeat but I just can't put any more speakers in here.

No, they're gone, and I missed the post from SolidSqual. Harry's e-mail went to the junk folder and I found it while cleaning it out, e-mailed him right away, and they had just been sold 30 minutes prior....Unbelievable!

SolidSqual: Thank you, thank you, thank you.

I'm sure they found a loving home.

No, they went to Purdue last night. OUCH! Sold to a Polk member's son through ebay.
    Thanks to all.

No problem with it. I've got so much going on now it's probably just as well you didn't.
I've been emptying my storage sheds out of as much stuff as I can. I don't like storing audio gear in the winter.
