Hi, I am looking at a pair of 5jr's.
The person selling them says he bought them about 8 to 10 years ago new - (Australia).
Would this be correct - my research says they where made in the mid 80's
The serial No. says 5jr 46889
I have a Quad 405 amp to power them ... are these speakers too small for this amp.
Thanks for reading.

Welcome to Club Polk. You should post in vintage speakers so you will be able to send messages to other members down the road. The Quad 405 should be a good match for them. There are a few guys who have run them here so hopefully they pop up. If you pull one of the drivers you should have a rough idea when they were made.
BenPlease. Please contact me a ben62670 @ yahoo.com. Make sure to include who you are, and you are from Polk so I don't delete your email. Also I am now physically unable to work on any projects. If you need help let these guys know. There are many people who will help if you let them know where you are.
Thanks
