So I have upgraded my system, nothing major I just have monitor series 50 for fronts, monitor 40, for surrounds and monitor 30 for rears. These are my first speakers that require jumpers. I have made some using some 12 guage rockford fosgate speaker wire that I had left over from my truck install. I used gold plated spade rings. Would I be better servered buying some jumpers elsewhere or will i not really hear a big difference from the ones I made. Thanks for the help

IMO, that will be fine. That's exactly what I did at first.....until I ordered the Quad 14AWG from BlueJeans. Very happy with the results:D

So was there a major difference in sound quality? I have search on the online and jumpers can get quite expensive. Just want to make sure I will benefit from buying them. I like the monitors sound. I have had them only a couple days, waiting on my onkyo 706 to arrive and my boston acoutics HPS 12HO 12 inch subwoofer.

I'm not even sure I noticed any difference - placebo maybe.....I did notice a difference when I upgraded the speaker wire to the quad though.
