I put these up for sale at the other website, so I don't want to get yelled at for not offering them here as well. LOCAL PICK-UP ONLY.
Not my cup of tea, but these things gave major wood to many people during their run. Cabinets (dark wood) are almost living room presentable, and drivers all work with a little coaxing. An hour or two of devotion and the cabs will be quite presentable. The "Presence" (The midrange control. Not bad. Almost as good as "Fluid-Coupled" but not quite.) and the "Brilliance" (Yup, the tweeter.) controls need to be de-oxed. Woofers are pleated material and should never need a re-foam. Grilles are dark brown and quite intact which is a rarity for the design. Previous owner, for whatever the reason, built wooden stands for them, stained them a close match to the cab finish, and then SCREWED THEM INTO THE TOPS OF THE CABS. Maybe he used them on bookshelves. The speaker was really designed to be placed on its side in a bookshelf. Now, if you have them oriented with the stands on the floor or shelf, the woofers are at the very top of the cab and the mids and tweets are firing towards the floor. Idiot.
If these vintage JBL's are your cup of tea, see me about a volume discount as it has been raining vintage JBL here recently. I have a near mint pair of the 4312 studio monitor that the L100 was modeled after.

A classic JBL speaker....the Monitors ruled the Studio years ago and still make a nice near field monitor...though they are bit large. Can take lots of power. And at the price, even if they need a little work they're a steal....
George is almost 'giving' these things away....I have the newer models and I'll never sell them...definitely a collectors item whether you like the JBL sound or not.
Come on guys step up here!
And WELCOME to CLUB POLK Kenwoodguy...should we ask if you have a old Kenwood amp or receiver?

Has the separation anxiety subsided any? -
George, I'm interested in the stands, can you remove them and send them south?Check your lips at the door woman. Shake your hips like battleships. Yeah, all the white girls trip when I sing at Sunday service.

I'm using the stands to hold up the Arcam Alpha equipment I stumbled on this morning. I'll let you know when I'm finished using them.
The separation blues left as soon as I had the cash in my hand. That Brooklyn boy got a good deal. The 100's and a mint pair of JBL 4312, $350 for both. I liked him so much I gave him a pair of ADS 1290 also. One happy camper.
