Center channel for new system
Looking for some advice on a center channel for a new system.
I am replacing my current system and I recently purchased a pair of RTi A5s for mains and an ED A3-300 sub. I also plan on getting a pair of FXi 4s for surround. I went quite a bit over budget on the sub purchase so I was considering getting a CSi A4 center instead of the CSi A6 (there seems to be about a $200 difference between the two on ebay).
Can anyone comment on if the A4 should sound ok with this setup or should I hold out for the A6?
Thanks in advance for your advice.

Either will match - how large is your room? Do you plan to set the center to small and cross it over to your sub for under 80hz material? How loud do you typically listen?
BTW - Welcome to Club Polk.Mains.............Polk LSi15 (Cherry)
Center............Polk LSiC (Crossover upgraded)
Surrounds.......Polk LSi7 (Gloss Black - wood sides removed and crossovers upgraded)

Welcome!
I also run a eD sub, the A5-300.
Another suggestion for a center is to try phantom mode, which is setting your center to "none" and letting the L&R channels split the info that your center would have played. For me, it has worked better than using a actually center, but it's not for everyone."He who fights with monsters should look to it that he himself does not become a monster. And when you gaze long into an abyss the abyss also gazes into you." Friedrich Nietzsche -
Sorry forgot to include the room specs. My room is not that big. It is 15x11x8.
I plan to set all speakers to small and run my crossover at 80 Hz. For movies which is what it will primarily be used for I usually listen fairly loud but not super loud.
Thanks for the response.Samsung 5085

If you are the if I woulda, shoulda, coulda type (I know I am) - I would run a phantom center until you can get what you want (the A6).Mains.............Polk LSi15 (Cherry)
