Another Bi-Amping Question

To "correctly" biamp speakers, should both amplifier sources be of the same wattage?
Example. I have Outlaw monoblocks on my speakers now. If I made the jump to LSi15s and picked up a 7X75 Outlaw amp, would I be doing more harm than good by attaching this to my front as well?

Probably wouldn't be doing any great harm, but probably wouldn't receive much better results either. . . in fact more likely to receive poorer results.
If you are using the 7X75 amp to amplify five other speakers then you will be increasing the possibility of adding junk to the signal. The whole point of biamping and monoblocks is too increase power while at the same time isolating signals between components to decrease the chance of junk getting in the signal. -
I just saw your system specs in your signature. Yowza. That's some serious speaker :cool:Fronts: Polk RTi10
