I would like pick up a pair of Lsi15's for a good price. They are on ebay for $516+$110 for shipping 3 days left refurbished, would rather buy them locally, and used not refurbished if possible.
Setup:

2 Channel: Vienna Acoustics Mozart Grand, T+A P 1230R, Primare SPA21, Oppo BDP-105
PC: Vienna Acoustics Haydn Grand, Cambridge Azure 650A v2 , Peachtree iDAC, Denon DVD-3800BDCI

i'm sure the price for those sets on ebay will jump up a lot when the auctions close. Refurbished stuff from Polk is fine, since it comes with the warranty, too. In term of risks, I think it's even a safer bet buying refurbished directly from Polk than buying a used pair without warranty (Polk warranty not transferrable).

Polk refurbs are like a brand new product. I've bought 5 refurb items and all looked brand new with zero problems.

ya paying $115 for shipping sucks, but if the price stays around $600+shipping i'm probably going to get them. I'm still get mad for not finding out about the LSi15's clearance for $400 at Fry's awhile back, and shopping at Tweeter when they went down I'm sure they had some deals oh well no money back then.

That is still great price if it stays down. I'd expect $800+ auction ending plus shipping but hope you're getting a deal you're looking for.

I'm sure you didn't miss anything from the tweeter closing. Liquidators have kept the prices still on the high side. Went to a local store that is closing and they were selling lsi7's for 800  May because most of the speakers had only one pair left and they still had 5 weeks before closing.

The did have a pair of martin logan Vistas for 3000 that I tried to get for 2000. I may stop in again this weekend to see if they r still there and pitch another offer :D

well that makes me feel better about not going to tweeter. I like Fry's when they clearance something it really goes on sale. I got my hk3385 there for $65 when they clearance it.

im still keeping an eye on the ebay deals. I actually tried to get the 9's instead since the highest bid was 325 with 2 hours to go. I bid and his max was $400 he out bid me for $470 a little too much since I really want the 15's.
