Did anyone else get this game? If not, its absolutely nuts. Great graphics, the story mode is probably twice as long as the first one. I do not recommend trying insane by yourself. You will need a partner for some spots, because your AI partner is worthless in them.

Just finishing it up on Normal difficulty...which is really easy. Only way you die in normal difficulty is when you run and gun. Which all of my Live friends know I love to do.

Having said that I am going to try to finish insane mode with my son in coop.

Great game BTW. I dont think it is game of the year material, but it was a very worthy sequal. Some over the top spots, but overall they kept true to the game.

The game is definitely a lot of fun and it looks great. It seems as though some of the sounds are a little too compressed but still has a great sound engine nonetheless. If you were a fan of the first one you definitely won't be let down.

I bought it day one. Pretty much the same game with new weapons and whatever. Great graphics again. I still suck at it.

Feel free to add me to your friends list if you want to co-op or anything like that. GT = shizelbs

Oh, gearsofwar.com has stat tracking too now, which really helps facilitate my addiction to a game.

This game was so worth it. The story mode was insane. beat it in a day in normal mode, wanted to try the harder modes but Needed money for bills. Way better than the first gears of war

Horde mode is the best. You and 4 other online gamers fight wave after wave of locust. Very intense, great teambuilding with strangers.

I loved this game. I played co-op with my friend and finished in about 12 hours. We love the head to head on the 106 inch screen.

Played Horde with my nephew and some of his friends. Awesome graphics. I am a run and gun type of guy so they played cover while I ran in an shot crap to hell.

What a blast until the wireless controller started running out of juice.

glad to hear that campaign mode is longer. That was my one complaint about the first one, it was over so quickly... I'll be picking this one up sooon!

I agree, I was annoyed that I finished the first one in only a couple of days.

Because you have to pay for it, although the flood map is pretty cool. A rising pool of immulsion? Makes it a little challenging if you have a big group playing.
