A few CDs...

I've been the beneficiary of a couple of karmas over the years, so when I discovered I had some duplicate copies of CDs I thought I would send them to someone else here on the forum. I have 5 CDs for karma.
Allman Brothers Band - Eat A Peach - Maybe their best studio album.
Allman Brothers Band - Beginnings - Basically their first two studio albums (The Allman Brothers Band & Idlewild South).
Joan Osborne - Relish - I don't care if you think her single "One Of Us" was pop fluff...this is a kick **** album that is very well recorded. White girl blues and she has some great vocals. Her band is made up ofa couple of guys from The Hooters. This is one of my favorite albums.
Elton John - Elton John - His debut album. a true classic.
Elton John - Tumbleweed Connection - This may be his finest album as well.
The CDs are used but all are in very good shape. I hope someone wants these.
Here are the rules:
At least 3 months on the forum and 25 posts before today. You may pick a single album, multiples or all of them to be in the drawing...however...only one per person. All I ask is that you tell how you have helped someone on this forum... NO BS...a real example. I will draw names in about a week.

In for all Please. I'm the SRT answer man!SRT For Life; SDA Forever!
The SRT SEISMIC System:
Four main satellite speakers, six powered subs, two dedicated for LFE channel, two center speakers for over/under screen placement and three Control Centers. Amaze your friends, terrorize your neighbors, seize the audio bragging rights for your state. Go ahead, buy it; you only go around once. -
Nice karma Steve.
In for all. I have set up turntables for forum members. -
Great karma thanks for offering it.
Not sure if these things count as far as helping a member goes, if so In for all. If not it's all good either way. I sent a member that needed one a preamp for the cost of shipping, and have donated $$ to practically all charitable causes here.
REGARDS SNOWWell, I just pulled off the impossible by doing a double-blind comparison all by myself, purely by virtue of the fact that I completely and stupidly forgot what I did last. I guess that getting old does have its advantages after all -
In please, and thanks.If...
Ron dislikes a film = go out and buy it.
Ron loves a film = don't even rent. -
cool karma. Im in for all except Eat a peach because I already have that cd.
I've helped other polkies by sharing my personal experiences with gear. -
Put me in for both the Allman Bros. discs, please.
I also like Joan Osborne's Relish a lot, it's always in rotation here.
Great karma!

I have never helped anyone, and I just joined yesterday. Please include me in your drawing.
BenPlease. Please contact me a ben62670 @ yahoo.com. Make sure to include who you are, and you are from Polk so I don't delete your email. Also I am now physically unable to work on any projects. If you need help let these guys know. There are many people who will help if you let them know where you are.
Thanks

Great karma; in for the two allman bros.
I have done a few little things here and there; not worth mentioning.
So, I'll just share the karmas I've had the opportunity to give:

I forgot to mention who I helped in my "in" post. (the Joan Osbourne CD)
well, I got big dave into this hobby in the first place.....or course, wether that is "help" is up to debate :p
also, the fact I have pretty much been nominated as Big ted's northereast audio deal liason would probably count as helping a board member. year 1, 160lbs of speaker.....year 2 200 lbs of amp. I see a frightening trend developing hereLiving Room 2 Channel -

In for all. please.
As for whom I have helped, I forget who it was (and I have deleted all the pm's), but someone was just starting up with contact lenses and needed some further advise that they weren't getting from their doctor's office, and I filled in the blanks for them."Don't forget to change your politician. They are like diapers they need to be changed regularly, and for the same reason." -
Bump - If this is it and nobody else jumps in I may pick the winners this weekend."Just because youre offended doesnt mean youre right." - Ricky Gervais

The drawing has been completed. It was done in an extremely hi-tech method. Each name was written on a piece of paper based on the titles you indicated you were "in" for. Each name was cut out and wadded in a tiny ball and placed in a Longaberger Basket (hand made in the USA and used to be somewhat "collectable" according to my wife). A name was drawn for each title. Once a name was selected it was removed from any subsequent drawing. Like I said...very hi-tech.
And the winners are:
Eat A Peach - ESAVINON
Beginnings - Fongolio
Relish - Hearingimpared
Elton John - bigaudiofanatic
Tumbleweed Connection - Fireman32
Congratulations to the winners. Please send me your mailing address and I will get the CDs to you ASAP.
