I took some shots of my crossovers. I was not the one who modded these, the previous owner did. I'm just wondering if everything looks okay in there. It's not the cleanest mod, but it seems to work. I also have some pics of my snipped polys in there.
Dimensional xover - left chan
Stereo x-over, left chan
Acceptable?
Seems a little ugly in there.

Do they sound ok? If so, enjoy!Political Correctness'.........defined

They sound good, but I wouldn't know if they sound as they should. I bought them like this 3 years ago, and have never heard a stock set or any other modded sets.Ludicrous gibs!

Do the values look correct? Will look closer when I get home - some of the joints look a little odd (like are the caps in series or parallel?) but may make more sense when I get home a get a better look at them.
I would say if you are getting sound from all the speakers, the actual soldering is fine - just need to make sure they were in parallel where needed and add to the correct values.Mains.............Polk LSi15 (Cherry)
Center............Polk LSiC (Crossover upgraded)
Surrounds.......Polk LSi7 (Gloss Black - wood sides removed and crossovers upgraded)
Subwoofers.....SVS 25-31 CS+ and PC+ (both 20hz tune)
Pre\Pro...........NAD T163 (Modded with LM4562 opamps)
Amplifier.........Cinepro 3k6 (6-channel, 500wpc@4ohms) -
Looks fine. Coils are oriented properly, components are quality. The guy knew what he was doing.
Sure, this person didn't take the time to make it eye-friendly. However, this isn't something meant to be looked at in the first place.
