ticking noise

Hi,I have the rmds1 unit and the sound compleatly went out and now there is a loud ticking noise comming from the unit and when i try to turn it on it shows a error no.3 on it.Any idea...

look in the book or call the maker and ask what error 3 is for, there is usually a description of error numbers

In the back of the manual that came with the system there are phone numbers to call in case of problems with the unit.......this would be a great place to start..there is also a small trouble shooting guide in the back of the same manual

thats funny because that what it sounded like and it got faster and faster each second until i pulled the plug or should i say cut the red wire.
