I have a 6' pair of Luminous Audio Prestige 2 speaker wires for sale. On one end is banana plugs and the other end is spades. I did notice that there is an arrow on the wire showing direction. However one wire has spades and the other wire is banana plugs when using the arrows for direction. Does not affect sound at all. I rearranged my system and now I need longer wires. It is in good condition and originally costs $110.00. I have the static bag and info. card that came in the bag as well. Polkie price is $40.00 shipped CONUS. Here are some pics, tried to upload here but the files were to big I guess.

Oooh, boy is that tempting. I've never had good speaker wire before... right now I'm running some 8 or 10 ga ratshack wire.Ludicrous gibs!

I would also consider a trade for a pair of 6503 woofers for my Polk 10b speakers. They must be in great condition and the dust cap cannot be pushed in. Heck, I'll even throw this in for those that have the woofers.

Hi big mac,
I'm kind of a newbie when it comes to cables. I have a H/K 3490 powering Klipsch KG4's (soon to be SDA's). My question to you is will banana plugs fit into coaxial's? Also, from my meager amount of research, I thought Silver was what one looked for in speaker wire connections? I am definitely interested in acquiring some great speaker cables, but need more info. Any help would be greatly appreciated. And, please by all means, if yours are the one's I need to get, let me know...
Thanks,

I went and looked at the back of your receiver http://www.amazon.com/Harman-Kardon-HK-3490-Receiver/dp/B00198F89A for putting in speaker wire. The banana plugs will fit into them I believe......my Onkyo speaker inputs look just like yours and they fit in nicely. As far as silver wire goes it is better from what I have read but I really have no idea honestly. I am newbish myself, lol. I do know that going from regular ol' 12-14 gauge wire to this speaker wire I did hear a difference for sure. Remember though that on the other end it is spades. I have never seen the Klipsch or SDA except on the net so I have no idea if they will accept spades.
Here is a link to the receiver I have. You can look the the back of the unit by clicking on the correct pic.

Big Mac- keep in mind that these are directional cables. The bananas go on the speaker end, and the spades go to the receiver. Hence that little arrow on the sleeving of the cable.
Edit- Now that I see the picture of both cables, I see that one is one way, and one is the other. Perhaps they didn't design these to be directional, after all.Ludicrous gibs! -

I guess I snooze I lose....
