Anybody know how the MiDock Studio compares to the Bose Sound dock?

I happy with mine and felt it was a fair price at $79.95, now a steal at $29.95 too cheap if you asked me.

Don't get confused now. I'm talking about the MiDock Studio for $80 at buy.com, not the MiDock Portfolio on Woot for $30.

I also jumped on the Portfolio version Woot deal, but now I'm wondering if I should try the Studio version. I already have a Sounddock so I want to know how it compares.

Did you get your Studio yet? What do you think of it? I've been considering one myself, but just haven't pulled the trigger yet. I cant' decide if it would be worth it to replace one of my Portfolios with a Studio.

I can't speak from experience, but I would imagine that the Polk and the Bose would sound identical if you were to leave the Polk in it's box.:D Sorry, but I have a tough time believing that the Bose would be anywhere near as good.

I only got the Portfolio so far-Haven't decided on the Studio.
Have you heard the Bose Sounddock yet? I'd rather not make a decision simply because of one brand name preference over another.

I have to imagine the Studio is better than the Portfolio. Different and larger speakers. So far I'm not impressed by the SQ of the Portfolio. Its nice for its portability, but for sound? Its really no different than my Creative Labs portable speakers or the JBL On-Stage II which all have the same style speakers.

I like the Sounddock for what it is, and I like its sound quality. It sounds better than any other iPod speaker thingey I've heard yet. Of that is strictly my experience-I'm not saying it is the best out there, just for the ones I've tried and that's whay I bought it. I spent weeks shopping around and trying my iPod in the store displays (I think that was two years ago). I don't like it for its lack of features, although I understand the newer Sounddocks now have battery and aux in options.

I might jump on the PA Studio just to see (hear)-Worst case scenario my kids could use one in thier bedroom right? ;)
