Hi All,

I have all sorts of LSi series speakers and wanted to find out if the XO modification can actually improve the sonic quality of the Lsi Speakers.

Thanks all for chiming in.

James

First welcome to Club Polk:) Second do a little reading;) The LSI mods are kinda a new thing around here. Short summery is that everyone who has done the mods has seen definite improvements. Some of the experiences are that they have been transformed to a whole new level, and others have stated that there is a definite improvement, but feel that it is not like a whole new speaker. This thread sums it up the best.

Take your time, and do some research. Ask yourself if you feel like there is something missing...
    Again Welcome

Please. Please contact me a ben62670 @ yahoo.com. Make sure to include who you are, and you are from Polk so I don't delete your email. Also I am now physically unable to work on any projects. If you need help let these guys know. There are many people who will help if you let them know where you are.
    Thanks
    Ben

Thanks Ben for the welcome and the pointer to the thread. I've already come across a couple of threads about modifying the LSi9 and LSiC but it's really kind of new around here and new to me too. So, I wonder the ones who modded their LSi provide a little more details as the improvements of XO components.

I don't feel like anything missing as now but if there can be improvements in XO, I would dig. :)

    Thanks again,
    James
