Why does it have a different front plate? Dosen't have the ribs.

Which would sound better .....the Adcom or the NAD 2600?

    I am not an expert by any means but I personally like the Nad 2600 better. The music sounded good on the Adcom but great on the NAD imo. The Adcom sounded a little bright while the NAD sounded a little warm as far as sound goes. Both are fantastic performers and what it comes down to is personal preference in sound and what price you can get them for. This model of Adcom has an almost cult like following for its power,reliability,and bang for the buck. The NAD on the other hand is just as good in every area but not as well known as the Adcom in this case. In conclusion.....you will probably get more "yes" answers for the Adcom but the NAD is as good a performer or better in almost every area. Either amp is a great choice.
