The Lee twins. Ugly, and homely:(
The decor in the pics sucks too. I thought that stuff went out in what the early 90's. Oh yeah it never was really in;)
Please. Please contact me a ben62670 @ yahoo.com. Make sure to include who you are, and you are from Polk so I don't delete your email. Also I am now physically unable to work on any projects. If you need help let these guys know. There are many people who will help if you let them know where you are.

    Huh? You surprised me, wing.

Those monstrosities would seem like they'd be very difficult to match if someone plans to place furniture in the same room, but I defer to your creative genius.

    Oh come on Brad --

Those are not speakers you hide..... or even try to hide

I mean seriously -- standing in at 6' tall and 400 pounds... lol

I find it odd though that the baffle is so wide for the mids and tweet...

No, not hide, just some stuff that will blend with them. The furniture in the pics seem like they don't belong there.

Remember, they are French, so the decor is appropriate :p

I saw these at CEDIA Expo in September. They are awesome looking speakers in person, although they wouldn't be for everyone. Of course, at $180,000, there aren't many people that can afford them to begin with.

The main woofer is actually a variable electromagnet that can be adjusted to compensate for specific rooms: http://www.grande-utopia-em.com/en/technologies/em.php

I think if you saw them in person it would be different. They are not traditionally appealing but in the right environment they could look awesome. If you want ugly look up Wilson Alexandria in the dictionary.

I could never enjoy listening to music on them. They look like evil mean robots with overtones of desire to feast on human flesh. I certainly would not let them near my children:mad: It would not surprise me if they were programed to all activate at the same time and consume their owners. Well I am going to go watch The Wall.
    Cheers

I think they look pretty cool, but I'd have to put arms and head on them. Then I could play "Danger Will Robinson, Danger Will Robinson" through them. :D

I guess I'd have to have Will Smith on standby in case they attack.

Looks aside, I bet they sound good, I don't care for the looks of the early Carver trapezoidal shaped speakers and probably wouldn't own them for that reason, even though they sound good too. (and can be had a lot cheaper!):eek:Geoff

    Stunning, thanks for the peek.

Looks like they have isolated the individual drivers further, and implemented some physical time alignment. I dig it.

Yeah -- from pictures at RMAF... there is a manual crank you turn to adjust the angle of the drivers as a whole if I am not mistaken to tune it to the room.

Sweet! I was wondering if you could adjust the angles to match the room and sweet spot.
